April Trahan is an associate of the firm’s Litigation Section. She is a lifelong resident of Houma and graduated magna cum laude from Nicholls State University with a B.A. in Government in 2006. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2019. Prior to law school, April worked in the oil and gas industry as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper. During law school, April served as a judicial intern for Justice John Weimer, Louisiana Supreme Court and Judge Elizabeth Lanier, Workers Compensation District 9. In her final year of law school, she served as the Online Editor of the Loyola Law Review. For a year prior to becoming an associate attorney, she was a Law Clerk at the firm of Duval, Funderburk, Sundbery, Richard, and Watkins.
